Tarvaris Jackson might not be ready to go when the Seattle Seahawks come out of their bye
28-year old QB Tarvaris Jackson might not be ready to get back into action when the Seahawks come off their bye week. He has a pectoral strain near his right arm. Jackson has played in all five games for the Seahawks so far this year and he has completed 99 of 157 passes (63.1%) for 1,012 yards with 6 TD passes and 5 INTs (81.0 QB Rating). He has also carried the ball 17 times for 78 yards (4.6 ypc) with 1 TD run so far this year. If Jackson isn’t ready to go, look for 29-year old Charlie Whitehurst to take over as the starting QB. Whitehurst has played in 1 game for the Seahawks so far this year and he has completed 11 of 19 passes (57.9%) for 149 yards with 1 TD pass and 0 INTs (100.5 QB Rating). He has also carried the ball 2 times for 6 yards (3.0 ypc) so far this year. Whitehurst led the Seahawks to a nice road win over the Giants last weekend, so they have faith in him.
