1. (4) Aaron Curry, OLB
The Seahawks resisted taking QB Mark Sanchez instead going with likely their highest rated defensive player in outside linebacker Aaron Curry. Curry is a big guy at 6′1″, 250 and he runs a 4.61 40. He can handle either outside or inside linebacker and he’s very strong in most areas of his game. Curry played in 51 games (49 starts) at Wake Forest and he made 332 tackles, had 45.5 tackles for a loss, had 9.5 sacks, broke up 15 passes and he had 6 interceptions. This was a outstanding pick for the Seahawks who needed a lot of help at linebacker and Curry will definately give it to them.
