4. (121) Red Bryant, DT
The Seahawks needed a tough guy for the middle of the defense and Red Bryant definately fits that bill. He is 6’4″, 326 pounds and he plays hard all of the time. He’s not that fast off the ball so he rarely makes plays in the opposing backfield but he attacks the double team and lets linebackers roam free to make plays. Bryant played in 45 games (42 starts) at Texas A & M and he finished with 127 tackles, 19.5 tackles for a loss, had 6.5 sacks and he batted down 7 passes. Bryant will be in the tackle rotation as a rookie and he might be a starter down the road.
