New Orleans Saints 28, Seattle Seahawks 17

The Seahawks fell to far behind early in this game to win it.  Matt Hasselbeck will have to ice up his arm after Sunday Night’s game.  He completed 26 of 43 passes for 362 yards with 2 TD passes and 1 interception.  Shaun Alexander had another off game as he carried the ball 14 times for 35 yards (2.5 ypc).  Leonard Weaver had a good game as he carried the ball 3 times for 40 yards (13.3 ypc) and he also caught 4 passes for 53 yards (13.3 avg).  Bobby Engram led the way for the Seahawks with 9 catches for 120 yards (13.3 avg).  Ben Obomanu (4 rec, 72 yards) and Nate Burleson (6 rec, 63 yards) each caught a TD pass.  The Seahawks finished up with 92 yards rushing on 21 carries (4.4 ypc) and they also completed 26 of 43 passes for 333 yards.

Brian Russell led a poor Seahawks defensive effort with 10 tackles.  The Saints rushed for 121 yards on 33 carries (3.7 ypc) and they also completed 25 of 36 passes for 246 yards.
