The Seahawks finally tired of Jerramy Stevens act so they let him walk away and signed Marcus Pollard to be their starting TE.   Pollard played in 15 games (5 starts) last season for the Lions and he caught 12 passes for 100 yards (8.3 avg).  Look for Pollard to rebound in the Seahawks’ offense as he will catch 35-40 passes for 400-500 yards in 2007.   He has now played in 177 games (125 starts) in his NFL career and he has caught 321 passes for 4,007 yards (12.5 avg) with 38 TD grabs.

Will Heller will be around again this season to handle the run blocking and once in a while snare a pass.  He played in 16 games (0 starts) last season for the Seahawks and he caught 4 passes for 32 yards (8.0 avg) and a TD.   He has now played in 42 games (3 starts) in his NFL career and he has caught 19 passes for 146 yards (7.7 avg) with 4 TD grabs.
