Seattle Seahawks vs. San Francisco 49ers
Both of these teams have two game winning streaks. Both of them have been winning with defense as the Seahawks have only allowed 22 points the last two weeks, while the Niners have only allowed 16 points the last two weeks.
The Seahawks are saying that Matt Hasselbeck and Shaun Alexander are both game-time decisions. Regardless of who starts the game, the Seahawks will likely try to run the ball at the start of the game. The Niners allow 118.8 yards rushing per game and 4.2 yards per carry….so either Shaun Alexander or Maurice Morris should have a good game. If Wallace starts, the Seahawks will run the ball more, but if Hasselbeck starts the Seahawks will throw often against a Niners pass defense that allows 221.6 net yards passing. Opposing QBs of the Niners have a rating of 96.9 this season.
The 49ers have turned into a power running team and Frank Gore will be really busy against the Seahawks. The Seahawks are allowing 101.8 yards rushing per game and 4.0 yards per carry. Despite Alex Smith’s improvement this season, the Niners will be conservative on offense and try to control the clock to keep the Seahawks offense on the sidelines.
Look for the Seahawks to win this game, but it will be closer than most people think it will.

Like all games a team has to plan for the threats of the opposing team even if it is the Niners. Over the last few seasons the 49ers haven’t been a substantial threat in the NFC West and they struggle to get points on the board. They are on a 2 game winning streak but that streak wont last when the Hawks go to San Fran
GO SEAHAWKS!!
It looks like we were both a little off on this game. The Seahawks better get their act together if they want to win the division, because the Niners are on a roll.
