Kelly Jennings (1, CB)

Kelly Jennings is a fast, athletic corner that has matched up with some really good receivers in first the Big East and then the ACC.  Jennings is an elite pass defender that is super-fast (4.35 40), but he’s also small (5’11″, 175) and that hampers him on the run defense.  The NFC West has alot of good receivers in it, but Jennings should be up to the task.

Jennings played in 49 games for the Miami Hurricanes (41 starts) and made 115 tackles, broke up 30 passes and intercepted 6 passes.  He also forced four fumbles his senio season.

Jennings should help the pass defense immediately, but he needs to be a little tougher against the run to be a starter at the NFL level.
